Ir. Kamal Azwan Bin Abbas leads PZK Sdn. Bhd. (previously known as Perunding Zakariah & Kamal) as Executive Director from the date of incorporation on 19 June 1998. He is registered as Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate for Civil Engineering by Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and complied with Registration of Engineers Act 1967. He is also certified as Qualified Person by Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Air Negara (SPAN).

Ir. Kamal Azwan has had 37 years of experience in civil and structural engineering. He specialised in high-rise building, water retaining structure, structural assessment and audit, and special requirement structure.

Among his key projects in his illustrious career are Structural Audit of Kertih Airport for Petronas East Coast Regional Office, Design of Blast Proof Building for Petronas Penapisan (Melaka), Design of 35-storey high-rise mixed development at Bandar Tun Hussein Onn for Uda Land (Central) and Design of Masjid Cina at Jalan Davis.

Prior to his commencement of service as Executive Director of PZK, Ir. Kamal Azwan served as the Director of Bonacci Winward Consulting Engineers Sdn. Bhd. after years of experience with PLUS Berhad, Wan Sam Construction Sdn. Bhd. and Siah Bros Bina Alam Bersatu JV.

Ir. Kamal Azwan graduated from Plymouth Polytechnic, United Kingdom in Bachelor of Civil Engineering in 1984.
