IR. ZAKARIAH BIN KEMAS SALLEH
Managing Director

Ir. Zakariah Bin Kemas Salleh leads PZK Sdn. Bhd. (previously known as Perunding Zakariah & Kamal) as Managing Director from the date of incorporation on 19 June 1998. He is registered as Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate for Civil Engineering by Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and complied with Registration of Engineers Act 1967. He is also certified as Qualified Person by Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Air Negara (SPAN).

Ir. Zakariah brings with him more than 39 years of experience in the public and private sectors in the water industry and has immense and outstanding intellect in water resource, water treatment plant, water supply and distribution, groundwater and etc.

Among his key projects involvement are Interconnection Works of Langat 2 from Langat 2 Water Treatment Plant, Saratok Water Treatment Plant, Sarawak, Water Supply System for Development of Seremban Barat, Chicha Water Supply Scheme, Kelantan Non-Revenue Water (NRW) Programme and Feasibility Study of Source Work Development in Kelantan (Groundwater Dam).

Prior to his appointment as the Managing Director of PZK, Ir. Zakariah served as the Director of Krystar Aqua Management Sdn. Bhd. and Senior Project Manager of SMHB Sdn. Bhd. Before he joined private sector, he served the Government for 12 years in Jabatan Bekalan Air Pahang, Jabatan Bekalan Air Negeri Sembilan and Jabatan Kerja Raya Terengganu.

Ir. Zakariah conferred with Masters of Water Resource from University of Newcastle Upon-Tyne, United Kingdom in 1989. Preceding that, he graduated from Salford University, United Kingdom in Bachelor of Civil Engineering in 1982.
